About the Event
Learn how to deal with back pain and body imbalances in this nurturing back care workshop, that will cover work with your neck, traps, shoulders, and hips. Led with pilates principles, this workshop will focus on utilizing breath and expanding body awareness to help you take care of your body. Special attention on how we stand, sit and move will be taught to encourage mindful movement in our everyday lives, minimizing pain through targeted strengthening and lengthening exercise Choose from the following options:
Hour 1 : Lower Body (Low Back/Pelvis/Knee Alignment)
Hour 2: Upper Body (Shoulder, Neck, Traps/Arms)
$45/ One Hour
$80/ Two Hours (full workshop)

Joanna Chak is a Pilates Teacher who specializes in back care. Trained with internationally recognized Polestar Pilates, she has attended multiple workshops on Scoliosis management and looks to share her knowledge of back and pain management with the world through the movement modalities of Pilates, Aerial Fitness, and Barre.
